Nice views east, west and south. Beware that the road in isnt in great condition, definitely no low vehicles in. It would only take 5-10 minutes to walk in off the road anyway.Track is in good condition and fairly well zig zagged up the mountain with only a couple of steepish sections.Took about 15 minutes to reach the top, sign at the bottom says 30 minutes.A few flys around when I was there so you may want to Aeroguard up before you head up there.Keep an eye out for the awesome looking moths up there I saw one but didn't get a picture. All in all definitely worth the walk.
Steep and short walk.
Nice walking.
The peak is a nice short trail walk with great views. The track is a bit loose and steep in parts so be careful!
Hidden treasure, can explore the surrounds all day. Hidden mine produced Antimony. This mineral is mixed with lead in batteries, tin in bullets and bearings, and bromine in fire suppressants. Mine was not productive and was abandoned. Timber logged for Broadford Paper mill in the 1940s There is also 2 hidden gold mine entrances nearly impossible to find and very unstable to go inside so pics withheld. Chasing the quartz reefs proved unproductive!
